Best photo editing software - Photographer photo editing tipsBest photo editing software - Photographer photo editing tips
This little blog is a guide to those that are probably fairly new to digital photography editing and are wondering what software is best for them. Now I can only go on what I know but the main name in the digital photo editing world is of course 'Adobe' Now the two main photo editing Adobe programs are 'Lightroom' and 'Photoshop' Lightroom is what I use when I've say shot a wedding or event that I have lots of images to 'tweek' It's quick and easy to make adjustment from small contrast, crop etc to more in depth retouches if need be. Now over the next few weeks i'll be making some Lightroom and Photoshop photo editing video tutorials which is far simpler way to show you my work flo.. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5Photoshop is the big player in the digital photo editing world and though when first dabbled with can be rather daunting, but with the endless photo-shop tutorials available via youtube etc it's a case of putting in the time to get your head round it and before long your be transforming your photo images into masterpieces. Now with Photoshop the photo editing possibilities are endless and the first bit of advise I would give you would be to learn photo-shop techniques that you will actually use, when I first began I used to watch PS tutorials on all sorts like how to make a photo look like a painting etc etc, now if your not goner use such techniques don't waste your time learning them and concentrate on the style and finishes your looking for whether it's landscape, portrait your find videos to guide through the PS and light photo editing techniques.. Now up until a few months ago the full version of Photoshop was around £500 which is understandably a lot of money to pay for the standard amateur photographer, but now you have two choices...
Adobe Photoshop Elements 12The first is get the 'Elements' series of photo-shop, not the full version but more than any one beginning on the road of digital editing would ever need!! The second I only just discovered this week and I'm not sure how long the special offer will run but is that you pay a monthly fee for both which at this moment in time is only £9 per month!! Now let me tell you this is one hell of a deal so I hope when your reading this blog post it's still available, but as I say the PS Elements series is well worth investing as well as a copy of lightroom. http://www.adobe.com/uk/products/photoshop.htm Now just to finish up, if your only goner get one or the first one to get is Lightroom, it's very simple to use then you can move onto photo-shop, as I said I will be putting some photo editing videos together so subscribe to my 'YOUTUBE CHANNEL' for lighting and editing photography tips..
